"Era of Great Transformation - The New Opportunities of Innovation and Entrepreneurship"
Mr. Peter WU (Sinovation Ventures)
Abstract
In the era of Great Transformation, innovation and entrepreneurship are presented with new opportunities, especially in the fields of artificial intelligence, robotics, life sciences and new energy. The future technologies in these four domains are converging, with the advancement of large-scale language models driving the rapid development of AI; robotics technology is entering the era of embodied intelligence; the healthcare sector is gradually being disrupted by artificial intelligence technologies; the new energy sector is experiencing rapid growth due to technological iterations, with the development of next-generation photovoltaic technologies and new energy vehicles.
The rapid progress of artificial intelligence is poised to bring forth extensive applications, catalyzing explosive growth in various emerging markets and attracting substantial investments. As these applications become more sophisticated, edge AI is set to play a pivotal role. Striving to strike a balance between computing power and energy consumption, the 'cloud-plus-edge' model is anticipated to dominate, propelling the rapid development of blue ocean markets, such as specific edge AI chips and models.
